Fun Times in April!

We have a LOT going on in April that we’re excited to share with you.

Spinners’ Central

Spinners’ Central is MOVING! Starting Monday, April 2, all you crazy spinners will meet on Monday nights from 6-9. Bring your wheel, your spindle, and your sense of humor. Our motto is come when you can, leave when you must. We are also hosting Spinners not once but twice a month on the first and third Mondays.

Puffing En Masse

Many of us, staff and customers alike, have been working on The Beekeeper’s Quilt, also known as HEXIPUFFS.  We are delighted to announce that we will Puff-A-Long on the first Saturday of every month, starting Saturday, April 7.  We’ve started a community jar of sock yarn scraps that you are welcome to take a bit and leave a bit.

Closed for Easter

We will be CLOSED on Sunday, April 8. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, April 9.

Show Us Your Shawl

It’s my favorite Natural Stitches holiday of the year. This year, we take the sting out of rendering unto Caesar by hosting Show Us Your Shawl on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. Here’s how it works. Come into the shop wearing a shawl that you made. We’ll take a picture of you for our blog, and in exchange for Showing Us Your Shawl, we’ll give you 10% off your entire regular-priced purchase. At the end of the weekend, we’ll have a lovely online journal of our favorite shawls.

Trunk Show!

Starting Friday, April 20, we will be hosting a trunk show from our friend and local designer Sarah Jordan, owner of Knit/Wit Designs.  Sarah’s Eidetic Mittens pattern was wildly popular over the holidays, and she has so much more to show us, including a shawl, baby blanket, hats, cowls, and who knows what else!  We’ll hold the trunk show for around 3 to 4 weeks, so be sure to stop in and see what all Sarah has to offer.

Whee! April is going to be a great month!
